White Box NY video screenings series: November 28th: Damiano Colacito-Mauro Ceolin-Aldo Giannotti

On Friday 28th, the last of the White Box video screenings series took place. First, we saw Damiano Colacito's "Paradisi", a loop of screenshots of the most significant landscapes of the most significant video games identified by the artist. 
Then, Mauro Ceolin's "bushidoARCADE" a flash animation where Ceolin combines the Samurai honor code  with iconic images chosen from the multimedia and game culture.
Finally, Aldo Giannotti's "A Rewinding Journey", the story of a solitary astronaut trip when back on earth.
Between each screening Calder Martin  and Taketo Shimada played great minimal music

White Box NY video screenings series: November 21st Liz Magic Laser, curated by Gabriela Galati

On November 21st the second night of the video screening series at White Box NY took place, where three videos by Liz Magic Laser where presented: Globe, Handled, and Bend, done in collaboration with Felicia Garcia-Rivera. 
The Rough Riders, the motorcycle gang featured in Bend, turned up at the event.

White Box NY video screenings series: November 14th Martin Gimenez, curated by Gabriela Galati

On Friday 14th, at White Box new space in Lower East Side, took place the first video screening of a series of three events.  In this occasion the artist presented was Martin Gimenez and his video "Limpida Fluit" of 2005.
